Houston Rodeo 2013
Amongst the fun things we did for Spring Break, we couldn't pass up the Houston Rodeo!!
We took Jaden to the scouting activity during the day...
Took the kids to the carnival and then the rodeo and concert. It was a long, and fun day.

Easter 2013
We had a great Easter this year! My favorite was the first comments when the kids found their baskets.
Jaden got a Wimpy Kid book, socks, PacMan for the x-box, and some other smaller things. His first comment was, "yay!! A Wimpy Kid book!!"
KynnLee got a fancy dress, shoes, tights, and a pet for her American Girl doll. Trevor asked what she got and she said, "Shoes!!".
My cousin Jackie and her little fam recently moved to Houston so we couldn't pass up an opportunity to have family over for Easter. KynnLee loved Connor! Once I told her he was her cousin she wouldn't leave his side! She had to sit by him at the table, during the game, show him her toys, etc. they were quite the pair!

April fools!!
I can't let April fools pass by and not play a trick on my kidlets. I didn't have time to do much so this is what I did when we got Jaden home from school...
The sign says "Wet Paint, use back door"
So they go to the back door and there's a sign that says "wet paint, use front door" (sorry, didn't get a pic).
So here they are on their way back to the front door...
He he he!!!
My friend Cindy and I did a pretty darn good April fools dinner for the fam too!! Here's what it consisted of...
They had 3 courses and had to pick from the above menu. Jaden's first course consisted of a knife (doctor's tool), spoon (sugar carrier), lemonade (pee) and spaghetti sauce (fruity cow- ya know, cuz tomatoes are technically a fruit).
They had fun!! Jaden probably enjoyed it the most, he's always a good sport. Trevor was the one with all the answers... smarty pants. :)

Houston Water Wall
We did a few fun things during spring break. We met some friends at the Houston Water Wall and had a picnic.
(I've never met a girl who is more of a poser...)
