Snake attack!

Oh boy, oh boy. Beeda had a snake in her yard, and it was quite the extravaganza getting rid of it.

Love Jaden and KynnLee with their gloves... yeah like I'm gonna let you touch it just because you have gloves on. Silly kids.  Now, Brenna has the right idea. Get where he can't get you! Forget about gloves! Ha ha!

KynnLee got bored and decided to check on/ pester Phoebe. :)

Hangin' out at Beeda and Pa's

The kids and I are at Beeda and Pa's and everyone else is at work. Feels like it's pushing 100 degrees so we came down to the river to cool off.

Jaden caught a guppy with his bare hands! True fisherman!!





Of course the first thing KynnLee wants is the swing.

Rock Island Fishing trip

We made a trip out to Rock Island for the kids to go fishing. We had lots of fun!

Rock Island.   This is Jaden's "I love fishing with grandpa" face.

Jaden skiing!

My little man was brave and wanted to try water skiing this summer!

and...... hit it!!!!


Water skiing is hard to learn and takes MANY crashes before you get the hang of it. Well, he not only crashed...


...but couldn't loosen his death grip on the rope!!


And then he didn't want to try it again! Poor little man, we'll get him out there again next summer!

KynnLee's first haircut!

KynnLee had her very first haircut when she was 3 1/2. When she was a baby and her hair started growing it all came in really thick and even, so it never needed a trim.

Here is her hair before her cut...

and just to give you an idea of her personality... One minute it this...  and the next it's...

(Oh my I have my hands full)



I was really hesitant to cut it because I knew I would cut off her gorgeous curls. So I had to take some pics of them before they were gone!


Here she is being all brave in the chair!!




I love her face here!....   and here...



And here is the after!! Doesn't look like we cut much, but it was over 3 inches!  Looking good KynnKynn!
