Summer swim lessons!

The kids did great with their first session of private swim lessons!

Let me just say... KynnLee started out the summer petrified to even put her face in the water, and Jaden could doggie paddle with zero form. I'd say we made some progress on her, what do you think? 😊

Jaden's favorite part about waiting during KynnLee's lesson was playing with the doggies.  We even brought Phoebe to say Hi one day.

Jaden's end of 3rd Grade!!

Jaden had a great 3rd grade year. He had a super awesome teacher, Mrs. Summers. Here's some end of year highlights...

One of his last projects was to make a restaurant. He chose to build it with Legos and named it "Mexico People! To eat not repeat". (I have no idea, don't ask)

What better way to start summer than with a pool party??

We also had an accident that occurred just minutes after the kids walked by. We were all so grateful nobody was hurt. It was a teenage kid who had rear-ended someone and fled the scene, was speeding up the street and swerved to miss the cars waiting in the carpool line.

After the new sign was put up, the street was temporarily named "Sick Tree" until the mistake was caught! Ha ha!! It was only a few days before it was back to Silk Tree.

Corpus Christi 5/27/13

While Mikka was in town we headed down to Corpus Christi to check everything out. It was a blast!!

Kynn had to take a pic of me on the drive... studying up on my yoga!  :)

We were so confused on the way in because the navigation told us to go this way, but it didn't show a bridge over the water... because we had to take a ferry!  It was pretty cool driving the car up onto a boat.  The kids loved it, Mikka included!  LOL!

Once we got across to the other side we saw a cool little beach shop, boy did we have fun in there!

Way cool little Hermit Crab display... it ALMOST made me want to get a little crab again.  :)

This is the front door to a store, I thought it was pretty dang cool!

The first little beach area we stopped at was full of rocks, this little man was in heaven!!  Poor boy is always told to not throw rocks because they are always landscaping rocks, but he let loose this time!

The next day we went to downtown Corpus Christi and it was my favorite spot!

Pirate ship...

I couldn't resist some cool handstands on the curb, LOL!

Beach time!!  I could have spent an entire day at this beach!  Loved it!

Feet pics!!!!

Can't take beach pics without some dancing!  My photographer had to take a selfie shot, so I had to include it, ha ha ha!

Is this not the coolest bike ever!?!  It was like a golf cart, but with 2 sets of pedals!!  It was way fun!!

Our last stop in Corpus Christi was the USS Lexington.  My dad and grandpa would have loved this, it was all right up their alley.  We will have to go visit again when Beeda and Pa are here.

I had to take pics of this engine for my dad.  :)

Kids in jail?!?!!!  YES PLEASE!!!!  Ha ha ha!

Last pic of the trip was another entrance to a store, love it!
