4th of July, Swimming, Tee-ball, Puppies, and more.

Yes, we've been very busy, to say the least. And the blog suffers for it...

Well, better late than never. Here's what went down on 4th of July~

We took the kids to the parade in the morning with Mark and Lindsey. Jaden loves to hang out with Haley. They're so cute together too!!

The fireman gave Jaden a 4th of July star neclace. He still loves that thing.

The firetrucks were a bit loud for the little ears...

Not sure how I feel about my baby trying to keep up with the big kids. She's supposed to stay little. But oh no, she had to sit by Jaden, eat candy, and everything else. Gosh, who sprinkled Miracle Grow on her???
To be honest, the parade was pretty lame. But the kids loved it (and that's what counts) and I got a good idea of which Dance Studios KynnLee will NOT go to when she turns 3. :-) It's always fun when the kids have fun. We don't need a fancy parade anyway.

Moving on to swimming. I had to get the little man in swim lessons. He's not exactly a fish... he hates to get his face wet. I have to give him credit for being smart though, the teacher was trying to get them to put their face in the water and she would say to put their chin in, then their nose, then their ears. So he dips his fingers in the water and splashes it on his ears. Sometimes he's too smart for his own good.
He still won't jump in on his own, but he's much better. It was great timing for swim lessons because we left for home after the 2 weeks of lessons. He's been having tons of fun at Beeda and Pa's playing in the river, and even got in a water fight with Darin yesterday and didn't mind his face getting wet.

We also completed Jaden's tee-ball season before we left town. Here's how the last game went down...

The wind up................... the hit...................
the run..... rounding 3rd.........

And some in-field action....
He got to play pitcher for an inning and got lots of action....

They got their trophies with their names engraved and everything. He thought it was pretty darn cool. He wanted to bring his trophy to Idaho to show everybody, so we took pictures instead.

Ok, this post will have to be finished later. I have adorable puppy pics and more.
